Civilizations Wars Walkthrough
Civilizations Wars is one of the most engrossing and intense RPG strategy games online because it challenges you to think carefully about your moves and to find a balance between defending yourself and attacking your enemies. The premise is pretty simple; take over your enemy's castle before they can take over yours. This isn't really an uncommon premise in the world of RPG strategy games but the rather bland and tired premise is greatly improved on in this game. As with most other RPG strategy games your opponents get more and more difficult as the game progresses but what this game does differently is that sets it apart from all of its competition. You are offered three different races to play as, each of which offers thirty-three challenging levels. You will need to defeat all thirty-three levels if you want to unlock the next race. To beat the game, you must defeat all ninety-nine levels. At the conclusion, there is a special surprise that makes the struggle well worth it. There are eleven different types of buildings you can take over, eighteen different skills you an use, ten different spells you can cast and an incredible one hundred achievements you can strive to master. Each race offers its own big monster that you will need to defeat before you can move on to the next race. This is one of the most fully featured RPG strategy games online and that's really what keeps you playing.
Civilizations Wars is far from an easy game but that's what makes it so worth playing. The tutorial level is fairly well done, but it will only teach you the basics. You'll need to play the game for a while before you can really get the hang of what you're doing. Newcomers to RPG strategy games are probably going to have a lot of trouble even getting through the first part of the game, but with patience, even beginners can get through to the end. You're likely going to have to take multiple attempts at some of the later levels, regardless of your experience level, but stick with it. It's well worth the effort. There isn't a single level in this game that can't be beaten. It's just a matter of fighting off the natural frustration that comes with a game this challenging and focusing on the fun you can have. The controls of the game can be a bit complicated, especially if you're not used to these types of controls, but the opening levels offer you a great introduction.
Crystals are of vital importance in Civilizations Wars so be sure you collect as many of them as you possibly can. You will use crystals to cast magic spells and to increase the speed of your troops. Try to get as many people inside a building as you can because the more people that are inside a building, the more crystals you will be rewarded with. Crystals cannot be used to create people though, so make sure you plan you attack with that in mind. Towers are also important in this game as well, which is somewhat reminiscent of other RPG strategy games. Towers, like crystals, are not able to create people but, also like crystals, the more people you have inside a tower, the better. How fast a tower is able to shoot depends on how many people there are inside that tower. Move as many people as possible to that tower to get the most benefit out of it.
Spells are an important and unique aspect of Civilizations Wars and are just one of the things that makes this game so different from most of the other RPG strategy games online. The thing about using spells, though, is that they can be a little hard to understand in the beginning. They're not really all that complicated, but they're so different, it might be hard for more experienced players to get used to them. Basically, you need to gather crystal energy during a level and then return to your map. Choose 'skills' from the right side of your map and learn spells. As soon as you've learned a spell, you'll be able to use them in battle. They can significantly improve how you fare in battle. To use a spell during a battle click on of the yellow swirls at the bottom of your screen and click on the area of the map where you would like to cast the spell. There will be a swirl there for every spell you have learned.
The best way to progress in Civilizations Wars is to plan your attack carefully. Strike out at your enemy towers first so you can get them working for you. Turn your enemies into allies. Also remember that all of your enemies have strengths and weaknesses. Avoid playing to their strengths. Instead, exploit their weaknesses. At the same time, remember that you also have strengths. Take these into consideration as much as your enemy's when you're planning your attack. It is important to capture your enemy's castle, but it's equally important to keep you own castle from being captured. This is a numbers game as much as it is a strategy game. Look at how many troops you have at any given time and how many troops you need to take over a tower. Look at where your enemies are the strongest and where they are the weakest. Focus on capturing as many buildings as you can to strengthen your army. There's a lot to consider, moreso than there is with most RPG strategy games, but as long as you keep your eyes open and pay attention, you should be able to make it from the beginning to the very end.
Overall, Civilizations Wars is an incredible RPG strategy game that will grab your attention from the very beginning and hold it to the very end. You might have to retry some of the more difficult levels later in the game, but you will conquer it eventually. This isn't a game you're going to dominate from the very beginning, but that's really what makes it so appealing. It's going to take a little time for you to get the hang of it, but as you're learning, you're also going to be having a lot of fun. If you're really stuck and you don't know how to beat a level, stop for a moment and look at your situation. Is there a spell you need to learn? Is there a spell you've learned but haven't used. Spells are integral in making it through this game. Keep that in mind and you should do well.
